For my first Visual Presentations homework at FIT we were asked to sketch 5 reflections. A reflection is "the throwing back by a body or surface of light, heat, or sound without absorbing it." I was a little confused as to how we were supposed to show a reflection from a piece of furniture but, I gave it my best shot and came up with these:
When returning to class the next week, a lot of my classmates and I were (not so) shocked to find out that we didn't do the homework completely right. But, our professor was happy to see our efforts and proceeded to give us a lesson on how to render reflections. This is what I came up with:
